|Business Hours: Our hours of operations are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, 7 days a week during the summer season. We are closed in stormy or inclement weather and will not rent kayaks in high winds (for example, whitecaps on the bay). Please call if you want to make other arrangements.|
| Stand Up Paddle Boards:Here is a great new way to explore the Weir River. Cruising on flat water is lots of fun and a great workout for core strengthening and balance. What’s SUP? Try our quality Stand Up Paddle boards from NSP and Edge. It is the same price as a kayak rental!
Sorry, but our paddle boards must stay on the estuary flat water. We do not allow you to take them to the beach for surfing.
Ask us about the Paddle Board Yoga program. Kripali Yoga instructor Heidi Shabaz will conduct a 1.5 hour class on paddleboards. The program begins Friday June 27 at 12:00 PM. Introductory price is $30.00
|Kayaks: We are pleased to offer a variety of new recreational style kayaks from Heritage Kayaks, Old Town, and Necky. These super stable kayaks are great for beginners. We have both single person and two person (tandem) kayaks. Tandem kayaks have enough space to also accommodate a small child.
We provide all the equipment necessary with each rental. Your kayak or paddleboard comes with a light weight paddle. We have life jackets to fit all sizes, each with a safety whistle. We have maps and waterproof bags to keep your stuff dry.
Basic instruction is provided with all rentals. We will show you the basics of safe kayak operation. We demonstrate how to hold the paddle, how to move and turn the boat on the water including tandem paddling. We offer tips on where to go, what to see, and show you how to be safe and enjoy your trip.
