Guided Tours

 

Join us for an adventurous 2 to 3 hour trek exploring the scenic Weir River Estuary. When you come with us, we promise to do our best to match your skill level, time constraints, and physical ability with a trip that is right for you.Corporate Team outings and youth groups are welcome. Please inquire as our tours can be customized to meed your group’s needs. Note:Everyone on guided tours will be provided a “dry bag” to place items they need handy on top of the kayak e.g. camera, sunscreen, bird book. Guided Eco Tour of Weir River Estuary

   After an introduction to the kayaks and instruction in basic techniques, we’ll begin a leisurely kayak journey paddle through the salt marshes to the point where the Weir River empties into the Bay.

  We may take a short hike to stretch our legs and look for rocks, birds and unique plants. Relax and savor the ambience of the area. We’ll explore the small islets and tidal backeddies of the Weir River estuary and view the beautiful shores of World’s End.

  In these sheltered waters you’ll have great opportunities to view the diversity of marine life for which the area is famous. Given the abundance of wildlife, you’re sure to see many shore and sea birds, and likely to spot osprey, swans, geese, perhaps even a family of red foxes.

 

SUNSET TOURS

  • $20.00 per person
  • Each Wednesday evening in July and August.
  • Arrive after 6:30PM. Trip leaves at 7:00PM
 After an introduction to the kayaks and instruction in basic techniques, we’ll paddle out around World’s End or up to the Weir River depending on the tides. Have a complimentary champagne toast and watch the sun go down over the estuary.
